Outdoor swimming pool

A pool located on a plot, outside the house, has its advantages:

  • not limited in size;
  • outdoor recreation;
  • construction and maintenance costs are lower;
  • can be built after the house is built.

It is possible to apply a compromise solution: glass walls, roofs, retractable (sliding) walls, underwater roller blinds, pavilions.

Protection of the swimming pool located on the site

It is important to provide protection for the pool with fences or special covers from small children and animals. It is better if there are no trees on the site, only a lawn – leaves from the trees can get into the water and make it difficult to clean it. In addition, it is advisable to place it on the south side of the house, in a place protected from the wind (especially from the north) by a fence or building. To reduce the accumulation of garbage and dust, the pool on the site should be built on a hill.

If the pool is located on a private plot

The main advantage of a pool in the backyard is fresh air, proximity to nature and more active recreation. Such a pool will be a good addition to your party with family and friends. However, there are also negative aspects. Swimming in an outdoor pool depends on the weather. Such a pool is more prone to contamination by leaves and other debris. It is much more difficult to keep it clean than a pool located inside the house. Not to mention the possibility of freezing in the winter – to avoid this, protective work should also be carried out.
